Another provocation by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan։ I call on citizens who disagree with my approach to Karabakh issue to carry out revolution

I have been engaged in the Karabakh movement since the seventh grade. And in March 2025, I noted from the podium of the National Assembly that based on my experience and analysis as prime minister, the conclusion is that we should not continue the Karabakh movement, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a press briefing Thursday.

Pashinyan clarified that he made this statement after he announced that he will lead Armenia based on this principle.

“And if the citizens of Armenia believe that this should not be the case, I myself call on the citizens to carry out a revolution. I believe that I am the first and only prime minister in world history who has called on the citizens of his country to carry out a revolution if the citizens do not agree with the declared strategy. I do not know of a second such case. But the fact is that our citizens have not carried out a revolution because they, like me, have realized that without making that decision, peace is impossible neither in practice nor in theory. They have realized that this is the provision that I have put forward and which, unfortunately, has existed for a long time—and perhaps from the very beginning,” Pashinyan noted.
