The national Assembly (Parliament) of Western Armenia welcomes the formation of the Assyrian Parliament – one of the ancient peoples of the Greater Middle East, which took place on September 12, 2019 in Yerevan.
It should be noted that the destruction and appropriation of cultural values, the process of persecution, falsification and neglect of the rights of Assyrians, Greeks, Armenians and other peoples of the Greater Middle East by the authorities of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan are being continued.
The Republic of Western Armenia (Armenia) on April 7, 2015, recognized and condemned the genocide of Assyrians and Greeks in 1915-1923 carried out by three successive Turkish governments – Ottoman,Young Turk and Kemalist.
We are committed to recognition and condemnation, and declare our full support in protecting the rights of friendly peoples – Assyrians, Greeks and other peoples deprived of their rights as well as in supporting the elimination of the consequences of genocide and the establishment of justice.
The election of the deputies of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Western Armenia from the Assyrian community of David Khinoev and Razmik Khosroev, from the Greek community Edward Polatov, and our many years of collaboration are the best proof of our friendship and cooperation.
We believe that close and effective cooperation will be established between us to neutralize the challenges and threats facing our friendly peoples, as well as to realize our just rights.
