The Gagik Tsarukyan Charity Foundation has presented the final animated version of the “Jesus Christ Monumental Statue-Complex” project in Armenia.
The Armenian government has approved this project to build a huge statue of Jesus Christ on Mount Hatis.
The aforesaid project is launched by famous business tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan, who is also the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
Although the Armenian Apostolic Church was against the installation of such a statue, this monument will be built.
Earlier, Hetq.am online newspaper had written that the Gagik Tsarukyan Charity Foundation had acquired—by ownership—9 plots of land (100 hectares) on Mount Hatis. Later it became known that another 7 hectares of land was bought, too.
