Armenia 3rd President comments on Belarus President’s statement

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who is on a visit to Baku, declared that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had asked him to tell the Armenians to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue through peace, but the Armenian elite before Pashinyan had declined the offer. NEWS.am asked the Office of Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan for a commentary on Lukashenko’s statement. Below is the response of the Office:

“With great respect for the Belarusian people, I wouldn’t like for them to ever have such a ‘peace-loving’ neighbor because after a short while, it would become clear that Minsk is an ancient Azerbaijani city and the Belarusian people have never existed as such and that the ‘historical justice’ of Aliyev must be restored in that territory, along with all the consequences.

Those who wish to know the truth can simply extract from the Internet the Armenonphobic and belligerent statements that the ‘peace-loving’ Aliyev has made for years and draw conclusions, as well as send the big package of those statements to Lukashenko in order for him to compare his and his good friend Ilham’s notions with universal notions of being peace-loving.”
