War criminal and aggressor – Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev has mentioned the conditions under which a peace treaty with Armenia can be signed.
“To date, the text of the peace treaty, which consists of 17 points, has been fully agreed. Azerbaijan does not put forward any additional conditions. Our conditions are known to Armenia, they are not new. We have announced these conditions a long time ago. However, we have not received a serious response from Armenia yet,” Aliyev said a press conference with visiting German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Wednesday.
The Azerbaijani leader reiterated these conditions: the need to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group and change the constitution of Armenia. To note Azerbaijan demands that the provisions of the Declaration of Independence, which mentions Nagorno-Karabakh, be removed from the constitution of Armenia.
“As they say, the ball is in Armenia’s court,” Aliyev added.
Also, the Azerbaijani president noted that he had informed his German counterpart in detail about the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
